Never use the appliance with

facturer's instructions. Ensure

When starting the engine, do
not tilt the lawnmower unless

this case, tilt it only as far as
is absolutely necessary and
only lift up the side facing
away from the user.

Do not start the engine when
standing in front of the dis-
charge channel.
■
Never put your hands or feet
on or under rotating parts. Al-
ways keep away from the
ejection opening.

Never lift or carry the appli-
ance with the engine running.

Switch off the engine and re-
move the safety key. Make
sure that all moving parts
have come to a complete
stop:

whenever you leave the
lawnmower,

before removing blockages
or clogging in the discharge
channel,

before inspecting, cleaning
or working on the lawn-
mower,
■
after encountering a foreign
object. Check for damage
to the lawnmower and carry
out the necessary repairs
before restarting and work-
ing with the lawnmower.

An immediate check is re-
quired if the lawnmower starts
to vibrate in an unusual way:

Check for damage.
■
Carry out the necessary re-
pairs of damaged parts.
■
Make sure that all nuts,
bolts and screws are firmly
tightened.
■
Do not work with the appli-
ance in bad weather condi-
tions, especially when it is
raining or when thunder-
storms are approaching.
