3.1.3 C ontinuity tes t with buzzer
Description of the measurement principle:
The device generates a 200mA DC current between the V-Ω and
COM terminals. It then measures the voltage across these two
terminals and from it deduces the value of R = V/I.
A ttention: all continuity measurements must be made with no
voltage in the circuit.
To test electrical continuity, proceed as follows:

Description of the measurement principle:

terminals. It then measures the current across these two terminals
and from it deduces the value of R=V/I.
A ttention: all resistance measurements must be made in the
absence of any voltage.
To measure a resistance, proceed as follows:
1. Set the switch to k Ω ;
2. Connect the black lead to the COM terminal and the red lead to "V-Ω";
3. Place the contact tips on the terminals of the component or
circuit to be measured;
