the spindle lock button firmly so that the
spindle cannot revolve, then with span-
ner (4) tighten clockwise the polishing disc.
Install the wool bonet (5) by simply put the
woolen pad over the polishing disc. Let it op-
erate for more than three minutes for check-
ing it up without load.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE START OPERATION
SHAFT LOCK
CAUTION: Always be sure that the tool is
switched off and unplugged before adjusting
or checking function on the tool.
CAUTION: Never actuate the shaft lock
when the spindle is moving. The tool may
be damaged. Press the shaft lock to prevent
spindle rotation when installing or removing
accessories.
SWITCH ACTION
To start the tool, press the safety switch (which
avoids unintentional starting) this makes you
activate the ON/OFF switch allowing the user
to operate the polisher. To stop the tool sim-
ply release the ON/OFF switch.
SPEED ADJUSTING DIAL
The tool speed can be changed by turning
the speed adjusting dial to a given number of
stops from 600 to 3000 RPM.
CAUTION: If the tool is operated continuous-
ly at low speeds for a long time, the motor will
get overloaded, resulting in tool malfunction.

The speed adjusting dial can be turned only as
far as 3000 and back to 600.
Higher speed is obtained
when the dial is turned in
the direction of number 6.
And lower speed is ob-
tained when it is turned in
the direction of number 1.
OPERATION
CAUTION: Always wear safety glasses or a
face shield during operation.
Hold the tool firmly. Turn the tool on and then
apply the wool bonnet to the workpiece.
In general, keep the
wool bonnet at an
angle
of
about
15
degrees to the work-
piece surface. Apply
slight pressure only.
Excessive pressure will result in poor perfor-
mance and premature wear to wool bonnet.
MAINTENANCE
BEFORE ALL CARE AND MAINTENANCE WORK
• Turn the machine off.
• Wait until the machine has come to a com-
plete standstill.
• Pull out the power plug.
CLEANING: Clean the machine with a moist
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use any deter-
gents or solution; these may cause corrosion of
the plastic parts of the machine. Make sure that
no water reaches the inside of the machine.
Keep the vent passage clear from dirt, clean off
the accumulated dust and oil dirt periodically.
SERVICING: There are no parts on the inside of
the machine which require maintenance by the
user. Should the machine fail to function after a
long operation time, have it checked by a tech-
nician.
REPLACEMENT PARTS: Danger of accident!
Parts which were not reviewed and approved by
the manufacturer can damage the machine and
can cause serious injuries. Use only original parts
for replacing old parts, particularly for safety
mechanisms and cutting tools.
CARBON BRUSH
The brushes should be checked periodically and
worn-out brushes should be replaced in time.
After replacing, inspect whether the new brush-
es can move freely in the brush holder.
Keep running the motor for 15 minutes to match
the contact of the brushes and commutator.
