Please read these operating instructions carefully
prior to operation and keep them for later refer-
ence.

INPUT to connect the unit to a mains socket via
the mains cable provided
Feed-through OUTPUT for power supply of
another unit:

play to indicate the menu settings
For operation of the menu, refer to chapter 7.1.

INPUT (chassis plug)
OUTPUT (jack with latch; to remove the plug,
press the lever PUSH)

2 Applications
The RGBL-430DMX is used for effect lighting, e. g.
on stage, in clubs or function rooms. It uses four
powerful RGBWA LEDs with COB technology*.
Various operating modes are available (e. g. auto-
matic or music-controlled show programs, strobo-
scope effects).
The light effect unit is designed for operation via
a DMX light controller. The number of DMX control
channels is selectable: 1, 3, 7, 11, 12 or 25. The
light effect unit can also be operated without a con-
troller, either on its own or together with multiple
RGBL-430DMX (master / slave mode).
* COB ("Chip On Board"): Multiple individual LED semiconduc-
tor chips without housing are close together on a PCB, thus
providing a uniform light distribution.

3 Safety Notes

The unit corresponds to all relevant directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with
WARNING The unit uses dangerous mains volt-
age. Leave servicing to skilled per-
sonnel and do not insert anything
into the air vents; inexpert handling
may result in electric shock.
Please observe the following items in any case:

The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range: 0 – 40 °C).

Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on the
unit, e. g. a drinking glass.
G
The heat produced inside the unit during opera-
tion must be dissipated by air circulation; never
cover the air vents of the housing.
