2.6. Contraindications
It is not appropriate to use the wheelchair when a patient has:
• Disorders of perception
• Severe equilibrium disorders
• Limb loss of limb on both arms
• Joint contractures or joint injury on both arms
• Inability to sit
• Reduced or inadequate vision
2.7. Declaration of Conformity
B+B, as the manufacturer of the product, declares that the Pyrolino
wheelchair is in complete compliance with the requirements of the
directive 93/42/EEC.
2.8. Responsibility
We are able to provide warranty cover only if the product is used in
accordance with the specified conditions and for the intended purposes,
if modifications, extensions, repairs and maintenance work are carried
out only by persons we have authorised to do so and if the wheelchair
is used in accordance with all instructions for use.
2.9. Service life
If used as intended, and the safety, care and maintenance instructions
are observed, the expected service life of the wheelchair is up to 5 years.
Beyond this time, the wheelchair can continue to be used provided that
it is in a safe condition.

3. Product and delivery overview
3.1. Checking the delivery
All Bischoff & Bischoff GmbH products are subjected to a systematic
final in-house inspection and provided with the CE mark.
The wheelchair is supplied in a special carton with factory settings.
After unpacking, please retain the carton if possible. This can be used
to store or return the product at a later stage.
Delivery and training are usually carried out by the qualified medical
supplies retailer.
If shipped by rail or a forwarding agent, the goods are to be checked
with regard to transportation damage at once in the presence of the
delivery company.
Check that the contents are complete and intact. In the event of
irregularities and damage, contact our customer service department by

3.2. Type plate and serial number
The type plate (Fig. 1) and serial number are located on the cross strut.
3.3. Scope of supply
• When you receive the product, please check immediately that the
contents are complete. The contents comprise:
• Outer packaging
• Wheelchair pre-assembled
• Instruction manual
