3 Operation
3.1 Inserting or replacing the batteries
For power supply, two 1 5 V batteries of size
AA are required If the LED (3) shows red, the
batteries are discharged and should be replaced
•
Only insert batteries of the same type and
always replace both of them
•
If the microphone is not in use for a longer
period of time, always remove the batteries
as a precaution to prevent damage due to
battery leakage
1) Seize the top part (1) of the microphone with
one hand and the bottom part with the other
hand to unscrew the top from the bottom
2) Fold up the battery holder (6)
3) Insert the batteries with the positive and neg
ative poles as indicated in the holder
4) Fold down the battery holder and reassem
ble the top part and the bottom part of the
microphone
3.2 Operation with
rechargeable batteries
Instead of nonrechargeable batteries it is also
possible to insert two rechargeable NiMH (nick
elmetal hydrate) batteries of size AA To charge
these batteries, the charging station CH2 or
CH8 is ideally suited: Leave the batteries in the
microphone and insert the microphone into a
charging slot Power is supplied via the contacts
next to the button
Never put batteries in the household
waste Always dispose of the batteries
in accordance with local regulations
3.3 Switching the microphone on or off
1) Press the button
