and life of the generating set. If inferior
engine oil is used, or if your engine oil
is not replaced periodically, the risk
of accelerated wear of the cylinder
liner, bearing and other moving
components increases significantly. So
the generating set life will be shortened.
We recommend CC/CD oil classified
by API. Choose the applicable viscosity
oil according to the local ambient
temperature.

3. Maintenance of the air filter

- Screw off the wing nut;
- Remove the air cleaner cover and
take out the element.

Do not wash the
CAUTION:
element with detergent.
- Replace the element when its
output decrease or a bad exhaust
color is noticed;
- Never run the generator without the
element, otherwise the rapid engine
wear will result.
- Reattach the air cleaner cover and
screw on the wing nut.
4. Checking the generator
- Turn off the main switch and any
other loads.
Be sure to turn off the
WARNING:
main switch before starting.
The generator should be earthed to
prevent electric shocks.

Before starting the engine, make
sure that all the devices connected
to the generator are off. If it does
not, the engine may be damaged
due to overload at startup.
5. Break-in period operation
- The first 2Ohrs are the break-in
period of the engine, the operator
must obey to following items:
- Avoid applying any heavy loads
during the break-in period.
- Replace the engine oil while the
engine is warm after 20-hours-
-running, the old engine oil will be
drained out completely.

Do not hook up tools or

other apparatus to the generating set
before starting.

1. Electric start

- Put the throttle lever in the "Run"
position (the lever is located inside
the structure. For accessing, open
the door).

"START" position.
