Hardware
The loudspeakers are protected with a foam-covered metal grille, preserving them from
dust and splashings. The midrange and high frequency cabinets feature a fitting which, once
the protecting plate is removed, allow the use of a flying suspension system such as ATM's
"MEGS PIVOTAL SERIES". Ask your distributor for further details. They are delivered with
disassembled metallic stands. (See 3.2)
Preinstalled fittings for mounting most wheel types found on the market. (See 3.3)

VERSIONS AND ACCESSORIES
Apart from the basic version consisting of acoustic cabinets, amplifiers and the
processor unit, a complementary version is available for upgrading purposes: The EPC7000 C.
The only difference lies in the fact that this version does not include the EPC200 processor, as
bigger systems need just one of these units.
It is also possible to fit all system electronics into a flight case (ref EPC FL). 10m
connection cables are included apart from the internal wiring and connection panel.
Other accessories
EPP LINT This interconnection panel for EPCs lets you configure a EPC7000 as a slave
(EPC200 bypassed) or master device (EPC200 working).
EPP AINT 15m multicore cable for interconnecting two EPP LINT or successive units.
WH 200 Kit consisting of 4 pivoting wheels for the acoustic cabinets.

3. INSTALLATION

3.1. Placement and mounting

The acoustic characteristics of the room, hall... and the number of assistants must be
taken into account. General rules valid for any case: place the acoustic cabinets on solid and firm
surfaces. The bass reinforcement cabinets are more efficient when are placed directly on the floor
in an oblong position rather than vertical or elevated or hanged. We recommend to place the bass
cabinets vertical for a better sound quality.
Be sure that there is not any obstacle between the mid-treble cabinets and the audience;
the high frequencies are extremely directive and any obstacle represents an attenuation. For a big
audience, the higher you place the mid-treble cabinets, the better sound propagation you will get.
Although all the EPC cabinets protect the loudspeakers with a grille and a foam do not expose the
system to the sun for long periods and avoid the rain.
