1. IMPORTANT REMARK

Congratulations! You are the owner of a carefully designed and manufactured equipment.
Thank you for your confidence in choosing the EPC200s, "heart" of our EPC processed system.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you read this manual before connecting the unit in order to
obtain its maximum performance.
We recommend our authorised Technical Services whenever any maintenance task
should be needed so that optimum operation shall be achieved.
For more information about the EPC, please refer to the instruction manuals of the
remaining devices belonging to the processed system.

1.1. Safety Precautions

This apparatus must be earthed through its mains cable.
Do not expose the unit to rain or water splashes, and do not place liquid containers or
incandescent objects like candles on top of the unit.
Always disconnect this device from mains supply before handling and/or connecting
or disconnecting other audio devices to it. Disconnect this device from mains supply.
There are no user serviceable parts inside the unit.

2. INTRODUCTION

The EPC200s performs an active division (3-way) of the audible spectrum, separately
equalizing each band and allowing phase adjustment for each way.
The EPC200s has been designed to take advantage of the excellent features that
ECLER's EPC systems offers. This device is designed to operate exclusively with the EPC system.
Using it together with other electro acoustic set-ups is not considered and could cause serious
damage.

3. INSTALLATION

The EPC200s operates (depending on country) under 110, 120, 220, 230 or
240V AC 50-60Hz. See characteristics in the back of the unit. You should avoid mixing the
mains wire with and in between shielded signal cables, because this could generate noise and
hum.
In order to protect the processor from eventual mains overloads or occasional
excesses in the consumption of the internal circuits, it has a 250mA (20) mains protection
fuse. Should this fuse ever blow off, disconnect the unit from mains and replace it for an
identical one. If the new fuse also blows ask our Authorised Technical Service. NEVER
REPLACE THE FUSE WITH ANOTHER ONE WITH A HIGHER VALUE.
CAUTION: Fuse substitutions have to be performed by a qualified technician.
