Caution!
The Elevating Swivel Unit in combination with channel forearm pads
is intended exclusively for positioning and supporting the upper
extremities. Never use the mounted channel forearm pads to lift
the wheelchair with the user sitting in it. The large lever lengths
would result in forces able to damage parts of the Swivel Unit or
of the wheelchair thus leading to a possible health risk for the user.
Caution!
In case attachment screws of the Swivel Unit have got lost, they
may only be replaced by screws having exactly the same dimensions
(see spare parts list) and quality (strength class of at least 8.8).
Caution!
Near open flames or when using cigars or cigarettes, falling embers
can cause the channel forearm pads to catch fire.
Note!
When adjusting the Swivel Unit, make sure afterwards that the
lock pins have safely snapped in place.
