2.2 General safety instructions

Caution!
The Elevating Swivel Units may only be mounted and adjusted by
appropriately trained specialists. An incorrectly adjusted Swivel
Unit can have a harmful effect on the user's health as a result of
holding his or her arms or shoulders in a wrong position.
Caution!
At all times the Elevating Swivel Units may only be used in com-
bination with a channel forearm pad. If no channel forearm pads
have been mounted and the user makes irregular quick move-
ments with his or her arms or with the body, the screws (which
are intended for mounting the channel forearm pad) can cause
injuries on the forearm.
Caution!
Please have the setting of the Swivel Unit and the tightness of
the screw connections checked at regular intervals. The user's
body posture can change over time, which would mean that the
Swivel Unit is set incorrectly. An incorrectly adjusted Swivel Unit
can have a harmful effect on the user's health as a result of a
wrong body posture.
Caution!
The Elevating Swivel Unit in combination with channel forearm pads
is intended exclusively for positioning and supporting the arms of
persons who have difficulties in controlling their upper extremities.
It is not suited for transportation in vehicles for disabled people to
provide protection in the event of an accident.
