By default, HDMI auto is selected. But, if you want, you can select the resolution
you want. For example: Choose '1080P 60Hz' if you are using a Full HD
television. Press the 'OK' button.

Go to 'SD Video System' and select the region. PAL is commonly used in the
main part of Europe, NTSC is commonly used in North-America and Japan.
Press the 'OK' button.

Go to '1080P 24HZ'. Select 'ON' if you have video material which contains the
original specifications of 24 frames per seconds. This will usually result in
smother playback of this specific video contents. Press the 'OK' button.

The other video options are usually satisfying by default, and therefore will not be
explained in detail.

Press the 'Return' button.

7.4 Sound settings

1.
Select 'Audio' and press the 'OK' button.

'Night Mode' is set to 'Off' by default. This can be switched to 'On'. This is ideal
when the EM7195 will be used during night time. This setting makes the overall
sound experience a bit softer.

Go to 'HDMI Output' and press the 'OK' button. Select 'Raw' if the HDMI cable is
connected to a digital HDMI receiver which can decode all audio codecs. Select
'LPCM Dual CH' if the HDMI cable is connected to your television. Select 'LPCM
Multi CH' if the EM7195 is connected to a HDMI receiver which can not decode
all audio codecs.

Go to 'SPDIF Output' and press the 'OK' button. Select 'Raw' if the SPDIF cable
is connected to a SPDIF digital receiver which can decode all audio codecs.
Select LPCM Dual CH' if your digital receiver can not decode all audio codecs.

Press the 'Return' button.
Note: All devices can play back (L)PCM audio. RAW audio is intended for an external
receiver, and required for a full theatre set up with 5.1 speakers. If you only use a TV,
simply set PCM Dual Channel audio.

7.5 Recording settings

1.
Go to 'Rec' and press the 'OK' button.

Go to 'Quality' and press the 'OK' button. At 'Quality', you can select whether the
recording will be recorded in High Quality or in standard quality. Select 'HQ' if
your recordings need to be recorded in High Quality and press the 'OK' button.
3.
Go to 'Permanent Timeshift' and press the 'OK' button. If 'On' is selected, time
shifting will always be active.
4.
Go to 'Rec Device'. Select 'HDD' if you want to store your recordings on to the
internal hard disk. Select 'USB' if you want the recordings to be stored on a
attached USB device.
5.
Press the 'Return' button.
