NO-LOAD VOLTAGE REDUCTION SYSTEM
Optionally, the machine can be supplied with the VRD (voltage reduction device) feature pre-activated. If this feature
is activated, the no-load voltage does not exceed 15VDC, providing a higher level of safety. For safety reasons, this
feature can not be manipulated by the operator. Consult your dealer to enable or disable this feature.

TRANSPORT AND INSTALLATION OF THE WELDING MACHINE

Impacts should be avoided during transport of the machine. The transport position must be as indicated on the pac-
kaging. The machine must be located in a dry, well-ventilated area and away from the welding station, to prevent
metal dust entering the welding machine. The machine must be installed on a horizontal surface with a maximum
gradient of 10°. Place the machine away from water outlets. The machine must be connected to an electrical box,
which should consist of a circuit breaker and an automatic switch. The circuit breaker protects people from direct or
indirect contact with electrical parts. The automatic switch must be chosen according to the equipment nameplate. A
switch with an intensity/time ratio of the slow type (D curve) is recommended to prevent false triggering.
HANDLING OF THE MACHINE
To handle the power unit always use the front and rear handles. If you have the UTS 200 transport unit, check that all
couplings are properly fixed. To handle the machine once it is located in the transport unit, DO NOT use the upper
handles of the power unit. Handle the whole machine using eye bolts screwed to the base of the transport unit.
