Additional instructions on fitting in conjunction with Festo components are
summarized in the system manual "Handling technology."
In addition to direct fastening by means of the threaded holes 1 , the
HMPL-... can also be fastened by means of a dove-tail adapter plate as per
"Accessories."
For exact alignment during fitting

Use the centring rings supplied.

Tighten the fastening screws to the same extent.

When placing the moveable mass, make sure
that the following specifications are fulfilled:
– the permitted transverse force F
– the permitted longitudinal force F
(vertical fitting)
– the permitted torques M
– and that the module is not tilted.

grams in the chapter "Characteristic
curves".
