For Remote 2-Qt Cup Assembly
(Refer to Fig.1 Page 7)
1. Connect Hoses to Turbine/Compressor
Attach "D" female fitting of the atomizing air hose
to "E" turbine discharge adaptor fitting. Attach "K"
male fitting of the compressor hose to "L" quick
disconnect of the compressor.
2. Connect Hoses to Cup Assembly
Attach "J" quick disconnect of the compressor hose
to "I" male fitting (air inlet) of regulator assembly.
Attach "C" quick disconnect/bleeder control valve to
"B" male end quick disconnect of atomizing air hose
(whip hose).
3. Connect Whip & Fluid Hoses to Spray Gun
Attach "A" female end quick disconnect of atomizing
air hose (whip hose) to spray gun air inlet. Attach "F"
female end of fluid hose to fluid fitting of spray gun.
Refer to Spray Gun Owner's Manual for component
references and set up instructions.
Note: For touch-up or small projects, the turbine/
compressor unit can be used with a ½ pint cup
assembly.
For ½ Pint Cup Assembly (Refer to Fig.2 Page 7)
1. Connect Hose to Turbine/Compressor
Attach "D" female fitting of the atomizing air hose to
"E" turbine discharge adaptor fitting.
2. Connect Cup to Spray Gun
Thread the swivel nut of the cup lid onto the spray
gun fluid fitting. Tighten with a gun wrench while
applying the counterforce with an
wrench on the fluid fitting of the spray gun. Refer to
Spray Gun and Cup Owner's Manuals for component
references and set up instructions.
3. Connect Hose to Spray Gun
Attach "C" quick disconnect/bleeder control valve
to spray gun air inlet. Refer to Spray Gun Owner's
Manual for component references and set up
instructions.
Turbine/Compressor Power-up
The electrical plug of the turbine/compressor unit
connects to any standard 120 volt/240 volt receptacle.
The turbine delivers atomization to the spray gun. The
compressor pressures the 2-quart cup.
Check to see that both on/off switches are in the off
position. Plug in the unit. With all hoses connected, paint
in the cup and the pressure relief screw closed, the
turbine switch can be turned on. If using the 2-quart
cup, turn on the compressor also.
