Bleed Control Valve
The bleed control valve attached to the
atomizing air hose allows for atomizing
air adjustments. It is very useful when
working on small jobs or tight spaces
when a small fan pattern is desired.
The valve simply decreases the amount
of atomizing air to the spray gun as you
close it. When the valve is completely
closed it will still bleed air.
Regulator Adjustments (for 2-Quart Cup Assembly)
Set fluid pressure to 0-20 psi. Fluid atomizes best within
this range. Higher pressures may be required for some
applications.
Using fluid pressures over 20 psi may create "heavy
center" effects in the spray pattern. Changing the fluid
nozzle to the next larger size, then reducing the fluid
pressure will reduce the "heavy center" effect.
Your unit is now set up for use. See Spray Gun
Owner's Manual for spray gun user instructions.
