Operation
1.
Before installing the blade to be grinded adjust the distant of the positioning block as per the
length of blade. The back of the blade should cling to the positioning block when grinding the
multiple blades at the same time the blade will be cling to the second and the third steps and
then lock the screw of hold-down clip.
2.
The cutter rest adjustment handle when grinding the blade can be adjusted in the range of 0-
90 °. The fixed screw at both ends should be released when the cutter rest is adjusted and
then adjust the required angle appropriately.
3.
The travel adjustment handle on the slide bar should be adjusted to exceed the length of the
blade to appropriate position and it is appropriate to control the exceeding range in 40-
50mm.
4.
The vertical feeding amount adjustment is effected by turning the hand wheel on the grinding
wheel rack scale ring is fixed under the hand wheel. To turn the hand wheel in a round of
clockwise the amount of feed are 2mm. While the retract is affected by turning the hand
wheel in a round of anti-clockwise. (NOTE: The micro-feed at both ends is necessary to
prevent the grinding wheel colliding with the blade.)
5.
In the grinding processing pay special attention the feeding amount. It needn't feed too
much, the range of 0.05-0.30mm is appropriate. If the feeding amount is too much that will
burn the blade into black and impact the grinding quality.
6.
The track and the steel rod must be clean when grinding. The grinding wheel rustles and runs
smoothly that indicate the grinding normal is normal. But it should be stopped immediately if
there is abnormal sound. Then check the feed situation, there may be normal sound because
the feed is excessive or inappropriate, also pay attention to the fastening state of the
grinding wheel or the sticky greasy dirt and so on.
7.
The bearing of track has the eccentric adjusting central spindle. The gap can be adjusted
after a period of use time. The adjustment is as the following: release the guard, and then
release the M14 locking nut on the sliding seat, the gap of sliding seat can be adjusted by
rotating the pulley spindle with screwdriver. (Note: Don't adjust it too tightly, that will wear
steel rod, if it is too loose, the grinding result will be not good.)
8.
When grinding the long cutting tool, the pressure effort of the hold-down clip should be
balanced, and the screw distance should be corresponding. When installing the cutting tool
on the machine, let it close to bottom as much as possible, the cutting edge should not be
protruded too high.

MAINTENANCE

Don't clean or do maintenance on the machine while it is still connected to
the power supply:
Damages to machine and injuries might occur due to unintended switching
on of the machine!
Therefore: Switch the machine off and disconnect it from the power supply
be-fore any maintenance works or cleaning is carried out
The machine does not require extensive maintenance. If malfunctions and defects occur, let it be
serviced by trained persons only.
Before first operation as well as later on every 100 operation hours you should lubricate all con-
necting parts (if required, remove beforehand with a brush all swarfs and dust).
Check regularly the condition of the security stickers. Replace them if required.
