Symptom
Playing
No sound from the speaker.
Cannot hear any sound.
A file in the "MIC" or "LINE"
folder cannot be played.
Cannot play a file in the
"MUSIC" folder, or the
playback is not correct.
Playback speed is too fast or
slow.
• There is no sound when you have connected earphones. ( ➜ page 31)
• Adjust the sound volume. ( ➜ page 13)
• Has the file been renamed? Only files in the "MIC" and "LINE" folder that are
named according to "Names of files recorded on this unit:" ( ➜ page 38) can
be played. Even if a file has not been renamed, it cannot be played if its file
number is the same as that of another file in the folder. Playback is possible if
they are transferred to the MUSIC folder. ( ➜ page 41)
• The transfer destination is wrong. If the file transferred from the computer is
stored in the MIC (MIC_SD) or LINE (LINE_SD) folder, it cannot be played
back on this unit. Transfer the file to the MUSIC folder. (The indications in the
brackets are displayed when using the SD card.) ( ➜ page 41)
• PCM (WAV) files recorded on this unit and MP3 files can be played on this
unit. Other file formats such as WMA/AAC cannot be played.
• For playback of "MUSIC" folder, see page 40.
• In "MUSIC" folder, up to 199 files per one folder can be recognised and played
back. (If subfolders are created, number of files playable is reduced by the
equivalent number of subfolders created.) Transferred files exceeding the
maximum number cannot be played.
