Reducing noise during playback (NOISE CANCEL)
This function reduces noise during playback to make the target sound easier to hear.
• When the unit is not in the stop state, press
[STOP g/RETURN].

Press [MENU].
Press u, i to select "NC" and

press [q OK] to enter.
Press +, – to select the type of NOISE

CANCEL and press [q OK] to enter.
(The factory setting is "OFF".)
To exit the setting screen, press
[STOP g/RETURN].
●
If you change the playback speed ( ➜ page 20), NOISE CANCEL will not work.
●
During playback of a file with a sampling frequency of less than 16 kHz, NOISE CANCEL will not work.
If this function is set to
other than OFF, "NC" is
displayed during playback.

HI
noise reduction.
Performs a small amount of
LO
noise reduction.
