Free-arm Sewing
t For free-arm sewing:
1. Grip the extension table with your index finger and
thumb.

the flat side to the rear_
When inserting the needle into the needle clamp

push it up as far as it goes Tighten the needle
clamp screw 0 firmly by turning it clockwise

To check for a good needle, place the flat side of
the needle onto something fiat (needle plate, glass,
etc.)
The gap between the needle and the flat surface
should be consistent.. Never use a bent or blunt
needle.
A damaged needle can cause permanent snags
or runs in knits, fine silks and silk-like fabrics.

To change the presser foot, raise the presser bar.
Loosen the thumb screw, choose the proper foot and
insert from the bottom_
Tighten the thumb screw using the large screwdriver
to make certain the foot is secure
