Barbecue grill 'Steakboard'
Dear Customer,
Before using the appliance, read the following instructions
carefully and keep this manual for future reference. The
appliance must only be used by persons familiar with these
instructions.
Important safety instructions
∙ The appliance should only be
connected to a socket installed in
accordance with the regulations.
∙ Make sure that the supply voltage
corresponds with the voltage marked
on the rating label.
∙ The power cord should be regularly
examined for any signs of damage.
In the event of such damage being
found, the appliance must no longer
be used.
∙ In order to comply with safety
regulations and to avoid hazards,
repairs of electrical appliances must
we carried out by qualified personnel,
including the replacement of the
power cord. If repairs are needed,
please contact our customer service
department by phone or email (see
appendix).
∙ The appliance is not intended to be
operated by means of an external
timer or separate remote-control
system.
∙ Caution: Do not, under any
circumstances, use charcoal or any
other solid or liquid fuel to operate the
steakboard.
∙ Fill the reflector tray with max. 300 ml
of water (see MAX marking). Always
disconnect the appliance from the
mains first.
∙ Caution: The grill surface and
accessible housing surfaces heat up
during operation. Do not touch any
part of the appliance except the grip
recesses during and after operation.
∙ Before cleaning, disconnect the
appliance from the mains and let the
steakboard cool down.
∙ To avoid the risk of electric shock,
the junction box with power cord and
heating element must not cleaned with
or immersed in liquid.
∙ Clean the grill rack and reflector
tray with hot soapy water, or in
a dishwasher; dry thoroughly
afterwards.
∙ For detailed information on cleaning

section Cleaning and care.
∙ This appliance is intended for
domestic or similar applications, such
as
- in staff kitchens in shops, offices and
other similar working environments,
- in agricultural working environments,
- by customers in hotels, motels etc.
and similar accommodation,
- in bed-and breakfast type
environments.
∙ This appliance may be used by
children (at least 8 years of age) and
by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or
lacking experience and knowledge,
provided they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the appliance and fully
understand all dangers and safety
precautions involved.
