4.3.
Air pressure
Use the fork indicated. If the pressure is too low, you will get less efficiency even in doing normal work. If
the pressure is too high, even if you obtain higher efficiency, the internal parts of the tool are easily
damaged, shortening the life of the tool.
4.4.
Lubrication
All pneumatic tools must be lubricated regularly to keep them in good operating condition for a long time.
Using an FRL group (filter regulator-lubricator)
The absence of a filter is one of the main causes of premature wear of pneumatic tool parts due to foreign
particles under pressure such as water, dust, rust, etc. It is therefore essential to put a filter. The filter is
used to filter foreign particles in the pressurized air to provide clean, dry air to the tool. There must be
sufficient airflow for the filter and it must be cleaned often. If the flow is insufficient, it affects the operation
of the tool.
Install this accessory 50 cm from your tool in the air inlet chain. When air passes through the water-oil
chamber, it causes misting of the lubricant. This accessory provides sufficient oil consistently. It is important
to choose the lubricant carefully as there may be a risk of damaging the tool. In general, it is recommended
to use SAE#10 lubricant. It is prohibited to use thick machine oil.
If used without pneumatic lubrication, follow the following instructions:
-
Disconnect tool from air hose
-
Place a few drops of air tool lubricant in the air inlet and oil inlet port before each use or every hour
during continuous use.
If you do not use your tool for several days, put an additional 5 to 10 drops of oil into the tool's air inlet.
4.5.
Storage
When the tool is not in use, store it in a clean, dry place. If you must store your tool for a long period of
time, ensure that the tool is properly lubricated before storing it.
Before use following this storage, run the tool for approximately 30 seconds without load to ensure that the
oil is well distributed throughout the tool.
WARNING :
Exposure of the skin to dangerous dust can cause serious dermatoses. If dust is produced or
made volatile by the maintenance procedure, it can be inhaled.
4.6.
Cleaning
Clean the power tool after each use. Always store your tool in a dry place.
Clean the machine only dry. Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your power tool. Wipe with a
dry cloth. Use a soft brush to remove accumulated dust.
Avoid using caustic agents when cleaning plastic parts. Most of them are sensitive to damage
caused by commercially available solvents.
Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
