Maintenance
• Maintenance depends on the degree to which the liner is used. The more active the user is and
the longer he / she wears the liner during the day, the higher the degree of use. Then the liner
and the silicone adhesive socket should be checked more often. The maintenance of the liner
system is also critical for the maintenance interval.
• However, the entire prosthesis must be examined no later than every six months.
During maintenance, the following must be checked and replaced if necessary:
• the construction
• the screwed connections
• the conditions for care (mobility class, weight)
• damage to the liner and the sealing lips
• liner size and fit
• general contamination and wear and tear
17 Guidelines for return, if necessary
Although the sealing lip liner is accepted and used without problems by most users, it might
be occasionally necessary to return the sealing lip liner to Streifeneder ortho.production GmbH
for replacement or credit. Although the sealing lip liner is accepted and used without problems

upon your request. You will be charged for the warranty replacement, credit will be issued upon
determination that the returned sealing lip liner is indeed covered by warranty. If the warranty
coverage on the return product has expired, or if it is determined that the damage to the
product did not occur as a result of a defect in materials or workmanship,and the sealed bag
had been opened, we will assume that the sealing lip liner has been used the sealing lip liner
will not be replaced nor will you receive a credit note.
Please take care to return the sealing lip liner in decent condition with proper packaging.
For the health safety of your employees and ours, please take reasonable measures to clean and
disinfect the sealing lip liner before packing and returning it to us.
18 Technical Notes
Attention!
Please take special care, that this product is not exposed to corrosive chemicals and
substances such as salt- and freshwater, acids, dust or sand! Failure to observe these
instructions will make any claims against Streifeneder ortho.production GmbH null
and void.
Please inform your prosthesis wearer accordingly!
19 Maintenance
Generally, a visual and functional check must be done every 6 months.
