Instructions for fitting:
The following aspects should be taken into account when fitting the product:
Models PRS640G_PRS642G_PRS643G_PRS646G_232BA_233BA:
1. Wrap the orthosis around the body so that the steel stays are centred on the
back, taking the spine as the midpoint. The lower part of the belt should be level
with the pelvis. The tension straps must remain loose while fitting the main part
of the belt.
2. Insert your right fingers into the handle on the right side of the belt and, with
your left fingers in the handle on the left side, press the left-hand front panel
down over your belly and pull the right-hand front panel over it until the hook-
and-loop fastener on one end meets the other and can be secured. Fig. 1 and

3. Pull both ends of the tensioning straps forward to increase the amount of
compression. Fig. 3
4. Then, pull and stick the ends of the tensioning straps to the front closure panel
of the belt. Fig. 4
5. For the PRS646G dorsolumbar model, adjust the tension of the straps to achieve
good shoulder retropulsion and fasten the ends of the straps to the belt's front
closure panel. Fig. 5
Models designed for pendulous abdomen PRS641G_PRS647G_234BA:
1. Wrap the orthosis around the body so that the steel stays are centred on the
back, taking the spine as the midpoint. The lower part of the belt should be level
with the pelvis. The tension straps must remain loose while fitting the main part
of the belt.
2. Adjust the belt correctly and close the hook-and-loop fastener on the front left
side. As this model is designed for a pendulous abdomen, the hook-and-loop
closure should be on the patient's left side, with the abdomen supported by the
specially designed cavity, as shown in Fig. 6.
3. Pull the ends of the tensioning straps forward to increase the amount of
compression. Fig. 7
4. Then, pull and stick the ends of the tensioning straps to the front closure panel
of the belt. Fig. 8
5. For the PRS647G pendulous abdomen dorsolumbar model, adjust the tension
of the straps to achieve good shoulder retropulsion and fasten the ends of the
straps to the belt's front closure panel. Fig. 9
Product maintenance - washing instructions:
Close all the hook-and-loop fasteners before washing. Hand wash with warm water
and mild soap. Do not use bleach. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
Do not expose to direct heat sources such as stoves, heaters, radiators, direct
sunlight, etc.
Note:
Any serious incident involving the product must be reported to the manufacturer
and to the competent authority of the Member State where the user and/or
patient is located.
