2.2. Product usage
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Take the appliance and the accessories out of the box. Remove the
stickers and the protective foil or plastic from the appliance.
• Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface and ensure a minimum
of 10 cm of free space around the appliance. This appliance is not
suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
• Plug the power cable into an outlet. (Note: Before connecting the
appliance, make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance matches
the local voltage. Voltage 220-240 V, 50-60 Hz)
• When the appliance is turned on for the first time, a slight odour will
occur. This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This odour is only
temporary and will disappear over time.
USE
• Ensure at all times that the lock function is not in use when opening
the grill.
• When closing the grill, make sure the top plate is correctly positioned
on the lower plate.
• Plug the appliance into an outlet and the red indicator light will light
up. Leave the appliance closed without any content to warm up.
When the red indicator light goes out, you can start grilling.
• Slightly grease the antistick coating of the grill plates with oil or
butter.
• During use, the trays and the outer shell are very hot. Avoid any
contact, as it can seriously injure you.
