Clutch adjustment
The free stroke of the clutch
should be 10-20mm before the
clutch starts to disengage,
based on the end point of the
clutch lever. In case of abnor-
mality, adjust as follows at the
lever end of the clutch cable:
• Remove the clutch cable dust cover.
• Loosen the lock nut 1.
• Screw
or
unscrew
adjusting screw 2 to make
the free stroke of the clutch
meet the specified require-
ments.
• Tighten the lock nut 1.
Idle speed adjustment
The stepper motor configured in the motorcycle
automatically adjusts the idle speed to the appropri-
ate range. If adjustment is required, please contact
the QJMOTOR Service Center.
Drive chain
The service life of the drive chain depends on
proper lubrication and adjustment. Improper mainte-

nance may lead to premature wear of the drive
chain and the sprocket. Under harsh use, the main-
tenance must be carried out frequently.
Drive chain adjustment:
For every 1000km of driving,
adjust the drive chain slack by
28-35mm. As needed, the
chain may need to be adjusted
frequently.
Warning
These recommendations are maximum interval of
adjustment. In fact, the chain should be inspected
and adjusted before riding. Excessive chain slack
may cause accidents in which the chain is
detached or serious damage to the engine.
Adjust the chain as follows:
• Support the motorcycle with
a supporting frame.
• Loosen the rear axle nut 1.
• Loosen the lock nut 3.
• Turn the adjusting nut 2 to
