METHOD 2: When ready to descend reach your left hand
around the back of the Ronin device and grab the brake
handle letting the weight of your arm pull down on the handle.
With your right hand TAP the thumbwheel (This is dislodging
the brake wedge) and hold the brake fully open with your left
hand. Now transfer your right hand to the output tailing line
holding the rope under your butt and away from the inlet hole
of the device. Pull down on the output line under your butt to
control your descent speed, slow and/or stop.

Note: If you do not descend or descend very slowly, this is due to over tensioning the system for more weight than you are lifting.
Slowly turn the Red Tensioner Knob to the Left, while holding the brake open, until you start to descend. Then repeat this step.
Caution: The Ronin's brake is an On / Off switch and cannot be feathered. Follow steps above for best performance.
Pull the brake fully open (Down) and rotate the thumbwheel down. Keeping the brake open will activate reverse function and back
the rope out of the system.
Note: When you reach the end of the rope, the rope may not fully eject from the system. Release the thumbwheel and pull the rope
out by hand if this happens.

METHOD 3: When ready to descend using a carabiner
attached to the side of your harness on a load rated "D" ring,
route the output tailing line through the carabiner. Reach your
left hand around the back of the Ronin device and grab the
brake handle letting the weight of your arm pull down on the
handle. Pulling the rope tight in your left hand, simultaneously,
grab the handle. With your right hand TAP the thumbwheel
(This is dislodging the brake wedge) and let go of the handle
while still holding the rope in your right hand. Pull up on the
output line with your right hand while holding the brake fully
open with your left hand to control your descent speed, slow
and/or stop
