1 General Advice

By prescribing the peroneal spring PeroSupport made of thermoplastic
polypropylene, your physician has given you a valuable medical product
which has been manufactured according to the latest functional anatomic
and orthopaedic developments and knowledge.
Please follow this instruction manual. This will help to
ensure the success of your therapy. Your health store or
your attending physician will gladly answer any questions
you might have regarding the use of the peroneal spring
PeroSupport.
2 Mode of Action
• ready to fit semi-finished product allows quick and individual production of
a function-adjuvant orthosis type AFO
• lower leg orthosis consists of injected polypropylene, which is a multi-phase
copolymer and features an optimal combination of good impact resistance
as well as high rigidity
• lower leg orthosis can be used for patients with dorsal-extension deficiency
of the foot, resulting in drop foot gait
• lower leg orthosis limits the plantar flexion in the upper ankle joint and
therefore causes lifting of the foot during swing phase
Attention!
The orthosis is only effective if it is worn in connection with a shoe!

• drop foot
• peroneal paresis
• hemiplegics with mainly limp tip toe position
