To program the controller, press the "SET" key (Fig. 1, No. 4). The °C symbol begins to flash and the setpoint
can be set to the requested value using the arrow keys. If no key is pressed for five seconds, the display returns
to the measuring mode. Holding the respective arrow key pressed for a few seconds, the display starts to run
faster.
After pressing the "SET" key again, the display goes to the setting for the control precision. Use the arrow keys
to set the desired value in steps of 0.1 °C. This is done both for heating and for cooling. By pressing the "SET"
key again, the unit jumps back again to the alarm value.
When the setpoint plus adjusted alarm value is exceeded, you hear a beep. This value is also adjusted by the
arrow keys. By pressing the "SAVE" key (Fig. 1, No. 3) the settings will be saved. As soon as the adjusted
setpoint falls below the adjusted value of the control precision, the unit activates the power socket No. 2 and
switches on the consumer (heating). When the adjusted temperature is exceeded, the unit activates power
socket No. 1 and switches on the consumer (cooling).
Example: The setpoint is set to 25 °C, the cooling and heating control precision at 0.5 °C. As soon as the
temperature rises to 25.5 °C (setpoint + control precision) the cooling unit starts. As soon as the temperature
drops below the setpoint (here 25 °C) the cooling unit will stop.
If the temperature drops to 24.5 °C (setpoint - control precision) the heating unit starts. As soon as the
temperature rises more than to the setpoint (here 25 °C) the heating unit will stop.
If heating or cooling is active, a corresponding symbol appears on the display.
SET+▲: By pressing this key combination for several seconds, the display can be turned off or on steadily (then
the display shows „On").If the display has been switched off, it must be switched on again using the same key
combination to read the display.
SAVE+▲: Reset. The controller is reset to manufacturer's settings.
▲+▼: By pressing this key combination for several seconds, you get to the switching mode of C (Celsius) and
F (Fahrenheit). Use the arrow keys to change the setting.
By pressing the SAVE-key, the required setting is saved.
A minimum switch-off time of 30 seconds prevents heating and cooling from working against each
other. If the setpoint and actual value differ by more than 1 °C, the cooling switches on without
delay.
The T controller twin 2.0 PRO has got a rechargeable battery so the programmed data will not be
lost in case of power failure. After starting the unit up, it takes about 24 hours until the battery is
charged and the data remain stored.
