Assembly - Attaching the Switch Cup

Attaching the switch cup
□
Remove one screw (TT) from the support plate, and loosen, but
do not remove, the other two screws.
□
Push the switch cup (J) up to the support plate so that the
two loosened screw heads fit into the keyhole slots. Turn the
switch cup (J) to secure. Re-install the screw (TT) that was
removed in the first step.

Make sure all the screws are firmly tightened.

Attaching the switch cup cover
IMPORTANT: It is critical to attach the switch cup cover using
the quick connector. The fan will not operate unless the switch
cup cover is connected to the fan.
NOTE: Notice the location of the fan's slide switch. This is the
switch used to change the fan's directional rotation. For more
information on the operation of this switch, see Operating Your Fan
on page 13.

Remove the three screws (VV) from the switch cup below the
fan-motor assembly (E).
□
Connect the wires from fan-motor assembly (E) to the wires
from the switch cup cover (K) by connecting the 9-pin molded
adaptor plugs together.
□
Align the three holes in the switch cup below the fan motor
assembly (E) with the three holes in the switch cup cover (K).
□
Position the switch cup cover (K) and re-install the three
screws that were removed in first step to secure the switch
cup cover (K).

Attach the pull chain extensions (HH) to the fan pull chain.
