WARNING: Risk of fire if boiling operation is not
supervised!
As soon as the water has evaporated completely, the
plastic in the pot will start to melt. If the heat source is not
cut off, the plastic will decompose, giving off smoke, and
may cause a fire.
Never leave the boiling procedure unattended!
Disinfection with hot steam
®
The INQUA
nebuliser can be disinfected using a steam disin-
fector (disinfector for baby milk bottles). To ensure that the hot
steam passes through all the individual components of the nebu-
liser, the components must be placed upright in the disinfector.
For effective disinfection, use a disinfector with a runtime of at
least 6 minutes. Regarding the performance of the disinfection,
the duration of the disinfection procedure and the quantity of
water required, follow the instructions for use of the disinfector
you are using.
Disinfection in the microwave
Disinfectors for standard domestic microwave ovens can be used
for effective thermal disinfection of the nebuliser components.
NOTICE:
If the components are heated in the microwave oven without an
appropriate disinfector or if the "Grill function" is used, the com-
ponents will be damaged by exposure to excessive heat.
Therefore, the components must not be exposed to microwave
radiation unless they are in a microwave disinfector.
WARNING: Risk of explosion and fire due to use of
unsuitable liquids
Use only water for disinfection.
