Troubleshooting and repairs
l WARNING!
Improperly repaired vacuum cleaners pose a danger to the
user!
▶ Repairs should only be carried out by qualified personnel, e.g.
customer service.
▶ Only use original spare parts.
Malfunctions are not always due to defects of the pre-separator..
8.1 Removing a blockage
If there is a blockage in the cyclone, the suction power will
decrease. Remove the blockage as follows:
▶ Pull the suction hose off the pre-separator.
▶ Remove the cyclone (see chapter 4.2 „Disposal bag (optional)"
on page 20).
▶ Remove the red cyclone plate on the inside by unfastening the
three screws.

▶ Attach the suction hose to the vacuum cleaner.
▶ Clean the blocked pipe by vacuuming.
▶ Reattach the cyclone plate.
▶ Reattach the cyclone on the container.
▶ Connect the hoses as described in chapter 4.3 „Connecting the
pre-separator with the vacuum cleaner and the tool" on page
20.
