Operation
5.1 Vacuuming
l WARNING!
Health hazard due to hazardous dusts!
▶ Observe the safety instructions in chapter 2.
l WARNING!
Risk of fire! Explosion hazard! Risk of electric shock!
▶ Observe the safety instructions in chapter 2.
▶ Make sure that all parts of the pre-separator are dry.
▶ For vacuuming soot, cement, plaster or similar dust: Optionally
insert the PE emptying bag into the dust container. See chapter
4.2 „Disposal bag (optional)" on page 20.
5.2 Removing the vacuumed material
5.2.1 Emptying the container
▶ Switch off the vacuum cleaner.
▶ Wait a few minutes until the dust has settled.
▶ Wear a suitable breathing mask.
▶ Open the locking clips.
▶ Remove the upper part of the pre-separator from the container.
▶ Tip out the container.
▶ Dispose of the vacuumed material in accordance with the legal
regulations.
5.2.2 Disposing of the PE disposal bag (optional)
▶ Switch off the vacuum cleaner.
▶ Wait a few minutes until the dust has settled.
▶ Wear a suitable breathing mask.
▶ Remove the cyclone from the container.
▶ Carefully remove the disposal bag from the container.
▶ Carefully close the disposal bag with the cable tie attached to
the bag.
▶ Dispose of the vacuumed material in accordance with the legal
regulations.

Cleaning
l WARNING!
Danger due to improper cleaning!
Equipment that is not properly maintained poses a danger to
the user.
▶ When using in food processing facilities: Clean and disinfect
the pre-separator immediately after use to prevent contam-
ination.
▶ Do not use flammable cleaning agents.
▶ Do not clean with steam jet equipment or high-pressure
cleaners.
Acid, acetone and solvents can damage the pre-separator.
▶ Clean the parts of the pre-separator with water.
▶ Wipe the top with a damp cloth.
▶ Allow the containers and accessories to dry.
