• Before installation or use, you must read and understand the instructions and safety warnings. Failure to
follow instructions and safety warnings can lead to serious injury or even death.
• Make sure that the power supply corresponds to the nominal power and frequency. To avoid the risk of
electric shock, ensure that the power plug is not damaged.
• In order to avoid any danger related to an incorrect resetting of the temperature limiter, do not connect this
device to an external switching device (such as a timer or a circuit device controlled by public facilities).
Ensure that the safety valve is always in working order to prevent the accumulation of pressure, to prevent
the backflow of water entering the electric water heater and to evacuate the excess pressure when the
internal pressure of the electric water heater is high, in order to guarantee the life of the internal tank and to
avoid accidents due to bursting. During the heating period, the decompression port of the safety valve may
drip water. This is a normal phenomenon. Do not close the decompression port for this reason, in order to
avoid serious safety accidents due to the inability of the electric water heater to decompress.
• If the pressure of the tap water used by the user is too high, the decompression port of the safety valve can
frequently release the pressure and evacuate the water. It is then necessary to install a pressure reducer on
the water supply pipe, and this pressure reducer must be installed in a place away from the water heater.
• Too high a water temperature can cause serious burns.
• Before repairing or checking the electric water heater, make sure that the power is off.
• The instructions for use must be placed next to or near the device in order to be able to be consulted later.
• The method of draining the water in the inner tank: Make sure to disconnect the power plug and let the
temperature of the water in the tank drop to the natural temperature, or put the mixing valve in the hot water
position and let the cold water enter the inner tank until the water temperature drops to the natural
temperature. Close the water inlet valve, remove the water inlet pipe and the safety valve, put the mixing
valve in the hot water position or remove the water outlet pipe, then the water from the inner tank can be
discharged through the water inlet pipe. Warning: Be careful not to touch the water flowing from the water
outlet in order to avoid burns due to residual hot water.
