POSITIONING BTI APNiA:
It is advisable to do this standing up, just before doing the test.
1. Putting on the Unit:
1.1
Adjust the unit to your thorax, leaving it at the front. If you wish to use the option-
al hook, insert the strap and place it on the right side of the unit. If you do not wish
to use it, hook the strap directly to the right side of the device.
The purpose of this hook is to set the tension of
the strap on the hook, and only use the other end
to adjust the unit.
MEN:
Place the device at the centre of your thorax.
WOMEN:
Place the device under your breasts.
1.2
Take the other end of the strap, pass it
behind your waist around your back, and
insert it in the other groove (left) of the
module, like you have done with the other
end. The side with Velcro must always be
outward.
1.3
Adjust the unit at the site indicated for
men and women, with the connections
area up. Fasten the Velcro without tighten-
ing it excessively so it is not uncomforta-
ble. Bear in mind that the straps can loos-
en with movement during the night, so it
could be necessary to readjust it.
Avoid placing it too low (for example, on
the abdomen) or on one side, as the device
has accelerometers that measure the body
position and movements, and, consequently, is designed to be placed at the site
indicated provided this is possible.
The device must be placed at the site indicated for men and women
and with the side with the connectors upwards.
We recommend placing the module over your clothes and adjusting
the belt so it is not too tight.
