13. Warranty

The warranty applies for a period of 1 year.
Entitlement begins with the day of delivery as evidenced by the bill of delivery or the invoice.
The unit is repaired in the factory or replaced free of charge during the warranty period.
Additional claims, in particular for consequential damage, are precluded.
The unit may only be used for the cooling of switch cabinets and units. Improper use and connection void the manufacturer's warranty.
The cooling unit has been carefully inspected and adjusted at the factory. Should you nevertheless ever have grounds for complaint, please
return the cooling unit to us.
Transport information:
Pack the cooling unit with all accessories in the original carton or an equivalent carton.
Shipping must take place freight-paid and insured.
Include proof of purchase (copy of invoice or delivery note) and a precise description of the defect.

14. Water quality notes

For safe operation of the air/water heat exchanger, the VGB cooling water guidelines must be observed (VGB-R 455P).
Cooling water may not contain any deposits of scale or loose crusting, it should have a low hardness level and, in particular, a low carbon
hardness (especially for chillers). However, it should not be so soft that it corrodes the materials.
For the chilling of the cooling water, the salt content should not rise to an excessive level as a result of the evaporation of large quantities of
water (as the concentration of dissolved materials increased, the electrical conductivity increases and the water becomes more corrosive).
Constantly load an appropriate amount of fresh water and remove part of the loaded water.
Water containing gypsum is unsuitable for cooling purposes due to its tendency to form limescale (especially difficult to remove).
Cooling water should be free from iron and manganese (deposits result in pipe clogging) and organic materials may only be present in low
quantities (sludge separations and microbiological loads).
The most frequent pollution and most common methods for their removal are:
Pollution of the water
Mechanical pollution
Excessive hardness
Moderate content of mechanical pollutants and hardness components
Moderate content of chemical pollutants
Biological pollution from slime bacteria and algae
The characteristics of the additive and/or system water should not be significantly different from the following hydrological data
