BEFORE STARTING THE MACHINE
1. The area within a 15m perimeter of the person
using the product should be considered a hazar-
dous area with restricted access. Where neces-
sary, yellow warning clothing should be worn and
warning signs posted around the perimeter of the
area. When work is carried out simultaneously
by two or more people, care should be taken to
constantly look around or otherwise check the
presence and locations of other people working
to maintain a sufficient distance between each
person to ensure safety.
2. Check the condition of the work area to avoid
accidents by hitting hidden obstacles such as
stumps, stones, cans, or broken glass.
IMPORTANT
Remove any obstacles before starting work.
3. Check entire unit for loose clamps and fuel
leaks. Make sure the cutting attachment is insta-
lled correctly and securely fastened.
MACHINE STARTUP
1. Keep onlookers, especially children and ani-
mals, at least 15m away from the place of ope-
ration. If anyone approaches, immediately stop
the machine.
2. The product is equipped with a centrifugal
clutch mechanism, so the cutting attachment
could start moving as soon as the engine starts.
When starting the engine, place the product on
the ground in a flat and clean area and hold it fir-
mly to ensure that neither the cutting piece nor
the throttle come into contact with any obstacles
when starting the engine.
WARNING
• Never place the throttle in the high speed
position when starting the engine.
• Never start the engine on the cutting atta-
chment side.
3. After starting the engine, check to make sure
that the cutting attachment stops moving when
the governor is moved all the way back to its origi-
nal position. If the attachment continues to move
even after the adjuster has been fully moved to its
original position, stop the engine and take the unit
to a YAROS Authorized Repair Shop for repair.
USE OF THE PRODUCT
IMPORTANT
Cut only materials recommended by the manufac-
turer. And use it only for the tasks explained in
the manual.
1. Hold the handles firmly with both hands, not
just your fingers. Spread your feet slightly apart
(slightly wider than shoulder-width apart) so that
your height is distributed evenly across both legs,
and always make sure you maintain a balanced
and even posture while working.
2. Keep the engine speed at the level required to
perform the cutting job and never increase the
engine speed above the required level.
3. If the unit begins to shake or vibrate, turn off
the motor and check the entire unit. Do not use it
until the problem has been completely resolved.
4. Keep all parts of your body away from the mo-
ving cutting attachment and hot surfaces.
5. Never touch the muffler, spark plug or other
metal parts of the engine while the engine is run-
ning or immediately after it has been switched
off. Failure to do so may result in severe burns
or electric shock.
6. While operating the machine, be sure to always
maintain a safe operating position, especially
when using steps or ladders.
