Before first use
Check the product and scope of delivery
NOTE!
If opening the packaging with a sharp knife or other pointed
object, be careful to avoid damaging the product's surface.
- Proceed carefully with opening the packaging.
1. Take the product out of the packaging.
2. Check that the delivery is complete (see chapter "Package contents/device
components").
3. Inspect the product and individual parts for damage. Do not operate a damaged
product, instead, contact the manufacturer via the service center listed on the
warranty card.
Initial cleaning of the product
1. Remove the packaging and all protective film, if present.
2. Clean all parts of the delivery as described in the "Cleaning" section.
The product is clean and ready for use.
Setting up the product
1. Operate the product on an easily accessible, level, dry, heat resistant and
sufficiently stable work surface.
2. Insert the strainer 10 in the frying basket 9 (see Fig. B). Press the strainer down to
ensure that it is positioned straight on the bottom of the frying basket.
3. Slide the frying basket all the way into the product (see Fig. C).
Operation
• Always put the strainer into the frying basket before use. Never use the
product without the strainer.
• If you want, you can first heat the product without putting in
ingredients. In this case, set the timer to 3 minutes.
1. Connect the mains plug to the mains socket and make sure that the steam outlet 3
and the vents 4 are not blocked.
2. Pull the frying basket 9 out of the product by the handle 8.
