Replacing the fuse

Stow the device as shown in fig. II.

Undo the screws with a crosstip screw-
driver fig. III.
▸
Remove the fuse cover.
▸
First undo screw [1] at the fuse switch using a 17-
mm spanner socket fig. IV.
▸
Then undo screw [2] fig. IV.
▸
Replace the fuse and insert according to fig. V.
▸
Tighten both screws using a torque wrench to
12 ±2 Nm.
Do not overtighten the screws! This will cause
¾
irreparable damage to the screw seating.

Attach the fuse cover and secure using the screw.
▸
Press the "Test" button.
If the "Charging state" indicator flashes, do not
¾
use the device, rather contact the manufacturer.

Connect the charger clamps of the device to the
vehicle; in doing so ensure correct polarity (see
section „An Fahrzeug anschließen").

Repeat the start-up procedure.
▸
Disconnect the device from this power source so
that it is not damaged.

Connect the device to a power source with appro-
priate voltage (see Section „Technische Daten").
▸
The battery is deeply discharged (see section
„Sonderfall: Tiefentladene Batterie").
