USE
PLEASE NOTE!
■ To prevent damaging the air chambers, do not bend the leg cuffs! Carefully
fold them after use before storing.
■ Do not open the zips on the leg cuffs during use as otherwise the cuffs
could get damaged.
■ Please make sure that the device is always free and is not covered by a
blanket or other objects.
■ If the appliance does not pump the air in cuff normally or it is not working in
alternating inflating, do not use it or contact customer service.
The device can be operated both with batteries and with the supplied mains
adapter. To connect the mains adapter or insert the batteries, read the chapter
"Putting into Operation".
How it works
Your legs are massaged by the rhythmic and alternating inflating and deflat-
ing air cushions. This massaging of your legs has the same effect on your
veins and muscles as a slightly strenuous walk. For the best results, your legs
should be positioned horizontally or raised during use so that the blood can
circulate unimpeded.
We recommend using the device for approximately 20 – 30 minutes.
1. Put on the leg cuffs with the connections for the
air tubes pointing outwards.
2. Connect the air tubes to the connections on the
leg cuffs. Make sure that the tubes are connected
properly and cannot slip out.
3. Connect the plug for the air tubes to the connec-
tion on the control unit for inflating the leg cuffs.
4. Set the pressure adjuster to its maximum setting.
5. Switch on the device by pressing the On / Off but-
ton. The On / Off control lamp lights up as soon as
the device is turned on.
6. The leg cuffs are now alternately pumped up. If the
pressure on your leg is too strong or if it feels un-
pleasant, set the pressure adjuster to a lower set-
ting. The ideal pressure setting should feel strong
but not unpleasant.
