Assembly
Your dealer will assist you with assembly.
1. Remove all parts from the box, check them for completeness and damage, and have them
ready.
2. Unfold the rollator and audibly lock the seat in place.
3. Remove the caps at the top ends of the rollator frame and insert the handles into the frame
tubes. The handles must be adjusted parallel to the direction of travel. Ensure that the
brake cables are not pinched!
4. Adjust the desired height of the handles and tighten the wing screws on both sides.
5. Attach the basket and place the tray on the seat if needed.
Brake and Parking Brake Usage
•
Always use both brakes/parking brakes simultaneously.
•
To slow down or stop the rollator temporarily, pull both brake levers
upwards simultaneously until you reach the desired speed or come
to a stop.
•
To engage the parking brakes, push the brake levers downwards
simultaneously until they audibly lock.
•
To release the parking brakes, pull the brake levers upwards
simultaneously until they disengage.
Safety Instructions
•
Use the rollator only in perfect condition. Do not use a defective
rollator!
•
Ensure that the rollator is fully unfolded and the seat is locked before
use.
•
Make sure the handles are at the same height and test the stability of the rollator before
putting your full weight on it.
•
Test the brakes and parking brakes before each use. When the parking brakes are
engaged, the wheels must not turn; otherwise, the brakes/parking brakes need adjustment.
•
Always use both the right and left brakes simultaneously for braking.
•
Check the tire wear! Heavily worn tires can affect the rollator's braking. Replace damaged
parts through your dealer.
•
Always engage the parking brakes before sitting on the rollator seat. A rollator is not a
wheelchair; do not be pushed while sitting on the seat.
•
Do not sit down abruptly on the Actimo® Basic XXL. Sit down slowly on the seat.
•
The rollator must not be used as a seat in vehicles such as trains or buses.
•
Use the rollator only on level ground – never on stairs or high edges! To ensure stability
and prevent accidents, all four wheels must have contact with the ground during use.
•
Always hold onto both handles to maintain balance.
•
Do not carry the rollator by removable parts or brake cables.
•
Handle the folding and unfolding of the rollator carefully – there is a risk of pinching!
•
The maximum user weight is 280 kg.
•
Do not make any structural modifications to the rollator without prior consultation with your
dealer or Rehaforum Medical GmbH.
