2. BEFORE USE
This device is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out
-
of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other
packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when
transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all
packaging materials are recycled accordingly.

Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any
piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service
immediately.

Be sure to read all instructions carefully and retain them for future use.
Wash all components that come into contact with food (cutting disc, carriage, food pusher,
-
and thumb guard) with hot, soapy water. Rinse with water and dry thoroughly with a soft
cloth.
Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface.

Unwind the cable from the bottom of the slicer.
-
Place the food pusher on the carriage before using the appliance.
Move the food cutting tray (5) back and forth a few times to make sure that the movement
-
is smooth.
Select the desired cutting thickness by turning the adjustable thickness dial (9) (fig.
-
1) clockwise for a thin cut and anticlockwise for a thick cut. The thickness ranges from
approximately 0 to 15 mm. Fig. 2
