WARNING: Risk of property damage. Replace the filter
cartridge every 6 months or sooner. Failure to replace the
cartridge at the recommended intervals may lead to reduced
filter performance and failure of the filter, resulting in water
leakage or flooding.
WARNING: Risk of property damage. The maximum water
temperature of this filter system is 100°F (37.8°C). To avoid
the risk of water leakage and subsequent property damage,
do not install on hot water supply lines, or in an area where
the ambient temperature may exceed 110°F (43.3°C).
WARNING: Risk of property damage. This water filtration
system will withstand up to 125 psi (862 kPa) water pressure.
If your water pressure exceeds 80 psi (552 kPa), install a
pressure-reducing valve before installing the water filtration
system. Contact a plumbing professional if you are uncertain
how to check the water pressure.
NOTICE: Product installation and use must comply with all
applicable state and local plumbing codes.
NOTICE: Do not install where water hammer conditions may
occur. If water hammer conditions exist you must install a water
hammer arrestor. Contact a plumbing professional if you are
uncertain how to check your system for this condition.
NOTICE: If a backflow-prevention device is installed in the water
system, install a device to control pressure due to thermal
expansion. Contact a plumbing professional if you are uncertain
how to select, install, or maintain a thermal-expansion device.
NOTICE: If a booster pump is installed in the water system, you
must inspect and maintain the booster pump pressure switch
regularly, in accordance with the booster pump manufacturer's
instructions. Contact a plumbing professional if you are uncertain
how to maintain the booster pump system.
NOTICE: If a booster pump is installed in the water system, you
must install an appropriate pressure-relief valve and regulate the
water pressure to less than 80 psi (551.6 kPa). Inspect and maintain
the pressure-relief valve every 6 months. Contact a plumbing
professional if you are uncertain how to select, install, or maintain a
pressure-relief valve.
