FAULTS AND REMEDIES
In the event of a malfunction, defect in the appliance or if you suspect a fault following a fall,
immediately unplug the appliance from the mains socket.
If the fault cannot be rectified as indicated in the table below, contact an authorised service
centre.
Only competent specialists may carry out interventions and repairs on the
appliance.
We do not accept liability for damage caused by repairs carried out incorrectly
or by unauthorised personnel. In such cases, the warranty cover shall lapse.
Problem
The appliance does not switch on.
The grain size is not uniform.
The coffee does not come out of the spout
correctly.
The engine stops.

Solution
- Check that the plug is inserted.
- Check that the wall protection switch is on.
- Check that the appliance switch is set to
"On".
- If the problem occurs after a long period
of intensive use, or an overload, the motor
may be in thermal protection. Wait at least
20 minutes and try again. The waiting time
can be reduced by placing the device in a
cool place.
- Try grinding very coarse for a few seconds,
then reset to the correct setting.
- Call technical support to
check/replace the grinding wheels.
- Check that the coffee spout is free.
- Should the motor stop due to incorrect
grinding settings or the presence of a foreign
object in the grinding wheels, try to increase
the grain size as much as possible by turning
the calibration ring nut clockwise. If this is
not sufficient then switch off the appliance,
unplug the power plug and contact technical-
ly qualified personnel.
