Keeping the appliance clean and tidy ensures optimal product quality and a
longer service life. Any parts to be replaced must always be original spare
parts.
Perform any maintenance or cleaning operation only after unplugging the
appliance and waiting for it to cool down. Operations must be carried out by
persons with knowledge and practical experience of the equipment.
Clean the appliance completely at least once a week. Clean the external, coffee-stained
surfaces at the end of each working day.
Never wash with jets of water and never immerse the appliance.
Do not use cloths, sponges or abrasive cleaners on the bodywork, to avoid rubbing or
scratching. Use a brush to clean hidden areas and a dry cloth for other surfaces.
Hopper: once removed, it can be washed with warm water and mild soap, rinsed and dried
carefully. Before taking out the hopper, remove the the tab and switch on the grinder, this will
empty the grinding wheel holder of residual beans. Check for deposits inside the dispenser
on a regular basis;
should it be necessary to remove them, disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
Body and base: use a cloth moistened with water or alcohol. Wipe dry with a dry cloth.
Grinding system: thoroughly clean the grinding wheels and the entire grinding system using
a dry brush and cloth. The grinding wheels are subject to normal wear and tear. Their
efficiency is important to guarantee the quality of the grinding both in terms of grain size and
temperature at the outlet of the ground product, parameters that can greatly influence the
success of a good espresso coffee.
