Remove the bales from the tank

Stop the pump.
2.
Turn off the water supply.
3.
Remove the transparent cover.
It is normal for the water in the pump to run out when you take the bales out.

Take the basket out of the tank and remove the grille to remove the bales.
With machine wash
Use a maximum 30° wash setting with no detergent and no spin cycle. Do not add detergent! Put
the bag of balls directly into the washing machine or, failing that, another textile mesh bag. Do
not put the balls in the washing machine without a bag: they could pass through the pipes.
With a jet of clear wate r
Rinse balls generously with a jet of clear water.

Make sure to turn the balls over to clean the entire surface of the balls.

Drain the balls several times to rinse and clean them thoroughly.

Replace the clean bales in the filter basket.

Restart the filter as described in " Start-up ", page 30.

Wintering
In environments where the pump may be exposed to frost or ice, care should be taken to protect the pump.
If the pump is not used during the winter, it is recommended to store it in a dry place.
Empty the pool hydraulics.

Empty the tank completely.

Do not replace the drain plug and store it in a safe place, e.g. in the filter basket.
Clean the balls and let them dry in a warm and dry place.

Drain the pump.

Make sure that the pump is not subjected to moisture during the idle period.

Moisture can deteriorate metal parts and the pump motor.
When putting the pump back into service, make sure that all seals are in good condition.
Lubricate them if necessary or replace them if they are no longer in good condition.
