• This product should never be connected to
a power supply when assembling, making
adjustments, cleaning or performing
maintenance. Disconnecting the product from
the power supply will prevent accidental starting
that could cause serious injury.
• When servicing, only use original manufacturer's
replacement parts, accessories and attachments.
Use of any other parts may create a hazard or
cause product damage.
Do not let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based
product, penetrating oils, etc, come in contact
with plastic parts at any time. Chemicals can
damage, weaken, or destroy plastic that may
result in serious personal injury.
• Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts.
Most plastics are susceptible to damage from
various types of commercial solvents and can be
damaged by their use. Use dry cloths to remove
dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
• Always turn off the fan and disconnect power
supply from fan before cleaning. Clean fan grill
periodically with a vacuum cleaner. For heavy
build-up, remove the front grill by removing the
five screws located in the barrel edge of the fan.
Wipe grill with a mild soap. Always reinstall the
front grill before use. (See Figure 6)
