Filling product
Note:
Follow the instructions of the spreading material manufac-
turer.
1. Place the product in a stable location.
2. Add spreading material into the container (2).
8.3
Dispersing spreading material
WARNING
Danger of injury
Objects hurled away and rotating parts can cause se-
vere injuries.

Make sure that other persons maintain a sufficient
safety distance.
–
Keep uninvolved persons away from the product.
–
Keep the product in front of you.
–
Never point the product at yourself, other people or
animals.
1. Hold the filled cordless hand-held spreader in front of
you by the handle (1).
2. Move to the scattering area.
3. To switch on the product, push the on/off switch (7).
4. Walk across the scattering area at walking speed.
5. To switch it off, simply release the on/off switch (7).
Note:
If no spreading material comes out when the on/off switch
(7) is pressed, the spreading material may be jammed be-
tween the container rand the spreading wheel. Press the
on/off (7) switch several times to release the spreading
material.
8.4
Adjusting the spread rate
Note:
For low quantities, keep the flow rate low. For high quanti-
ties, the flow rate can be increased.
1. Turn the spread rate controller knob (6) to the desired
position to adjust the spread rate.

Adjusting the spreading speed
Note:
1 = low, 6 = high
1. Turn the spread rate controller (3) to the desired posi-
tion to adjust the spreading speed.

Limiting the spreading width
1. Slide the lever (4) over the opening of the spreading
wheel (5) to limit the spreading width.

Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING
Have maintenance and repair tasks that are
not described in this operating manual, car-
ried out by a specialist workshop. Use only
original spare parts.
There is a risk of accident! Always perform
maintenance and cleaning work with the bat-
tery removed. There is a danger of injury! Let
the Product cool down before all mainte-
nance and cleaning tasks. Elements of the
engine are hot. There is a danger of injury
and burning!
The product can start unexpectedly and cause injuries.

Remove the battery.

Allow the product to cool down.
–
Remove the tool attachment.
9.1
Cleaning
1. Empty the product completely.
2. Keep protective devices, air vents and the motor
housing as free of dust and dirt as possible. Rub the
product clean with a clean cloth or blow it off with
compressed air at low pressure. We recommend that
you clean the product directly after every use.
3. Ventilation openings must always be free.
4. Do not use any cleaning products or solvents; they
could attack the plastic parts of the product. Make
sure that no water can penetrate the product interior.
9.2
Maintenance
The product is maintenance-free.
10 Storage
Preparation for storage
1. Remove the battery.
2. Empty the product completely.
3. Clean and check the product for damage.
Store the product and its accessories in a dark, dry and
frost-free place that is inaccessible to children.
The optimum storage temperature is between 5°C and
30˚C.
Store the product in its original packaging.
Cover the product to protect it from dust or moisture.
Store the operating manual with the product.
