OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR KRAMP DIGITAL MOISTURE METER
Thank you for choosing the Kramp Digital grinding grain moisture meter! Please read the whole manual before using the

- Remove impurities and green or abnormal kernels
- When measuring direct from a dryer, give the sample time to cool a little before measuring
4. MEASURING
1. Press ON/OFF to switch on.
2. Choose a grain using the < or > buttons.
3. Display will indicate the correct sample size (9 ml or 11 ml). Fill the appropriate sample cup on the
grinding cap with grain.
4. Pour the sample into the grinder evenly.
5. Put the grinder cap on its thread and twist clockwise to grind.
6. Twist the cap until the stop pin on the cap hits the rim of the grinder.
7. Press Test and wait for the result.
8. Moisture content is on the left side of the display and average on the right side.
9. If the display shows > or < in front of the result, the moisture is outside the measuring range. For example, "<11%"
means the sample is too dry and ">40%" means the sample is too wet to be measured. Measuring range varies with
grain and temperature.
10. Clean the grinder and the cap after each measurement. Use the supplied cleaning brush.
