MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
GENERAL CLEANING
1. To avoid injury, maintenance should only be performed by a skilled professional.
2. Cleaning is recommended after each use.
3. Always disconnect the power cord from electrical socket before cleaning.
4. To avoid electric shock, do not immerse in water to clean.
5. Exterior can be cleaned by wiping with a clean, soft, slightly damp cloth.
6. Do not clean with abrasive solutions or concentrated detergents.
CLEANING THE BLADE BLOCK
1. Make sure the clipper is turned off before cleaning.
2. For optimal results unscrew the cutting head completely from the blade block.
3. Remove hair residue from blade using the brush (J).
4. When finished cleaning, apply lubrication oil (K) to the blade block (Fig. 3) and
distribute evenly.
5. Turn on the clipper briefly to ensure proper oil distribution before use.
CUTTING HEAD MAINTENANCE, ADJUSTMENT AND REPLACEMENT
CAUTION!
Components may be sharp. Incorrect alignment of the blade and the cutting comb can
cause injury.
1. Make sure the clipper is turned off.
2. Use mini screwdriver to unscrew the two screws on top of the head (Fig. 4).
3. Clean any hair residue using brush (J).
4. Reassemble by inserting the blade into the plastic feeder.
5. Apply the comb and put the two screws back in.
